Have you ever had a day where everything that could go wrong went wrong and all you needed was a little encouragement to keep you from completely throwing in the towel? I don't know about you, but I have often experienced those types of days. The downside to experiencing a challenging day is knowing a life jacket is not always thrown your way. Sometimes, you must be your saving grace. Encouragement is the energy individuals need to continue moving forward, a battery in the back per se. Imagine if the Energizer Bunny had no recharge. What would that look like? Unlike the bunny, humans have two options. We can be refueled directly or indirectly. When you wake up in the morning you can tell yourself it's going to be a great day and pray that your day runs smoothly. Encouraging yourself is a daily exercise that is highly recommended, but let's be honest, we all need a little help from time to time. This is where refueling indirectly comes into play. The next time you see an opportunity to uplift someone, seize it. You never know when the tables will be turned, and you'll so desperately need the same encouragement.
When was the last time someone encouraged you and how did that fuel your spirit and energy? Dream*Inspire*Achieve
